Seminars for chemical and petrochemical engineers

The Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering organized, within the curriculum of its weekly activities for the academic year 2018/2019 (Chapter 1), a seminar for the professors of the department under the title:

Studies on Preparation Parameters for DeSOx-Additive

in RFCC Units

On the hall of the Department of Electrical Engineering Wednesday, 19/12/2018.

Seminar Search Submitted by m. Dr. Ahmed Nafea Awad, Head of the Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering Department, in which he focused on studying the factors affecting the manufacture of a catalyst with the ability and ability to absorb sulfur oxides gases emitted from the production of kerosene produced in industrial catalyst crackers and widely distributed in international refineries. This has a significant impact on the pollution of the environment and increase the degree of global warming and the high temperature of the Earth, which has a negative impact on the increase in ozone layer erosion ,,, And that the manufacture of a catalyst has the ability to absorb gases exposed to space is the biggest challenge to Researchers in the protection of the earth, especially after the application of the laws of the international environment organizations.

The seminar was attended by members of the scientific committee and a number of teachers, engineers and students of the third and fourth stage in the department.
