A scientific trip for the students of the third stage electrical engineering department to the station south of Ramadi electric

 

Department of Electrical Engineering - Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University under the supervision of a. M . Dr. Amir Abdulrahman Hilal, Dean of the College, held a scientific field trip for the students of the third stage to the power station south of Ramadi on Thursday, 28/2/2019.

 

During the visit, the students were accompanied by a number of teachers:

 

  * M . D. Mushtaq Najib Ahmed.

  * M . M Hatem Fahd Freih.

  * M . Abdul Salam Mohammed Aboud.

  * M . Mohammed Khalil.

  * M . Abdullah Mohammed.

 

At the reception of the faculty and students of the engineering staff working at the station ,, visitors toured the station accompanied by Engineer Mohammed Najm, who provided a "full explanation" of the distribution transformers in the plant of Korean origin ,,, where he talked about the most important functions of the switching stations and their components and work ,,,

Then he gave a detailed explanation of the principle of the operation of distribution transformers starting with "receiving the main feeder of the plant and its value is 33 kV and finished" by converting it into a sub feeder of 11 kV.

In addition to explaining the operation system of the station and the methods of electrical insulation of the station and the methods of maintenance transformers,

The brief and explanation presented by Engineer Mohammed Najm included interventions and asked many questions to a number of visiting professors and students ,,,

 

At the end of the visit, the teachers and students thanked the engineering cadres working at the station for their good reception and what was presented by Eng. Mohammed Najm from the explanation of Wafi and valuable information about the station, wishing them success and continuous tender.
