Faculty of Engineering holds a seminar on awareness of the dangers of drugs and transitional diseases

The Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University, in collaboration with the Health Center at the university and the activities of the first cultural week of the College on Monday, 1/4/2019, held a seminar for the students of the college.

Dr. Firas Ahmed Mahmoud, Director of the Health Center at the University delivered a lecture on "Drug Risks". The lecture addressed the dangers of drugs to people in particular and to the society as a whole and ways of reducing or eradicating this serious social scourge.

During his lecture, Dr. Al-Mutairi stressed the need to spread and preserve the values ​​and customs and good morals in our daily life.

Dr. Ahmed Yassin Khadr delivered a lecture on "Transitional Diseases" in which he identified the various transitional diseases in the society, which are transmitted through contaminated food, air and water, in addition to illegal contact. These diseases include hepatitis, AIDS, tuberculosis, Infectious diseases, which must be the person affected by the need to review the health centers and doctors specialists for accurate tests of treatment,

The seminar included questions and inquires for a number of attendees and was answered by the lecturers.
