Nanotechnology and its applications in the engineering of dams and water resources

During the cultural week held by the Faculty of Engineering, Anbar University, the Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering visited Dr. Abdulsalam Kurdi Al-Mohammadi, President of the Arab Center for Nanotechnology, to deliver a lecture on nanotechnology and its applications in the engineering of dams and water resources. On the Ibn al-Haytham Hall.

The lecture was attended by a number of heads of scientific and teaching departments

The following axes:

* Introductory introduction to nanotechnology and its applications in the treatment of industrial water and drinking water.

Treatment of defects in the gates of the dams

Rationalize water consumption using some nanotechnology compounds

Elimination of damage to heavy elements in water and soil

Improve the mechanical and thermal properties of materials used in dams such as cement and iron

Many questions and queries were raised and extensive discussions took place between the lecturer and the audience.

The lecture was attended by a number of engineers and students of the fourth stage and a number of graduate students.
