The public scientific discussion of a master’s student (Hussam Suri Muhammad), a student in the Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering - College of Engineering - University of Anbar, took place on his thesis:

 Evaluation of Rainwater Harvesting Systems in the West Desert of Iraq 

 Evaluation of rainwater harvesting systems in the western desert of Iraq.

Today, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at nine in the morning

On the discussion room - Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering.

The study aims to understand the hydrological processes of some dams in the western desert of Anbar.

The discussion committee consisted of:

* Prof. Dr. Khamis Nabea Sayel, Member

* Prof. Dr. Hoda Tariq Hamad, Member

* Prof. Iyad Salibi Mustafa, member and supervisor

After an extensive discussion by the discussion committee with the student, the thesis was accepted with a full grade.

The discussion was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, the Head of the Dams Engineering and Water Resources Department, and a number of graduate students in the department.
