A training course in the College of Science
The Department of Physics at the College of Science, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University Presidency, organized a training course on the basics of using the Latex program in academic writing. The course, which lasted for three days, aimed to introduce participants to the importance of using the Latex program in writing scientific research and academic articles, and to teach them How to use the program effectively.
A number of faculty members and students in the Physics Department participated in the training course. The training course was presented by Dr. Wissam Ahmed Amin and Dr. Ahmed Khalil Ibrahim, teachers in the Physics Department.
The training course covered various topics, including: introduction to the Latex program, installing Latex, adding texts, inserting equations, adding tables and graphs, managing references, and designing pages. During the course, the two lecturers provided a theoretical and practical explanation of the program, and also gave participants the opportunity to use the program through direct application under the supervision of the lecturers.
