    The Director of the Center shall exercise the following powers:

1. Supervising the performance of the Center and following up the employees' works and activities.

2. Distributing tasks among employees working in the Center for the conduct of work.

3. Granting regular leaves that do not exceed two weeks and granting sick leaves as well.

4. Recommending granting regular and sick leaves for more than two weeks in addition to the academic leaves.

5. Recommending imposing penalties on workers who are in neglect or misconduct.

6. Recommending issuing letters of thanks and appreciation to distinguished and creative workers.

7. Recommending granting promotion and promotion allowances from one degree to another for the Center's staff.

8. Recommending employing placement and dispensing of the services of any of the employees of the Center in accordance with active laws and regulations.

9. Representing the Center in scientific and technical conferences and seminars.

10. Distributing tasks and responsibilities among the employees of the Center in a way that helps develop the work performance and improvement within the center.

11. Recommending the dispatch of employees of the Center inside and outside the country.

12. Recommending granting various types of allowances to all employees of the Center.

13. Evaluating the performance of employees in the Center and submitting their evaluation to relevant authorities.

14. Appointing employees as temporary contractors in the Center to fill the shortage of staff and to ensure the work progress.

15. Recommending the approval of employees as permanent staff in the Center based on their completion of the required legal period.

 16. Signing up of correspondence issued in the name of the Center.

17. Recommending one of the center staff to be the center director in case the director is on regular leave, sick leave, or dispatch.
