International Team for Academic Assessment Meets President of University of Anbar

 The international delegation of the academic evaluation reviews met with Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, President of the University of Anbar, along with Prof. Muthanna Muhammad Awwad, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and several deans of colleges and heads of departments, to discuss scientific research, international partnerships, meeting the needs of the labor market, and cooperating.This occurred as part of the International Team for Academic Evaluation's field visit, follow-up, and evaluation program of the Iraqi universities listed in the Times classification and selected to participate in the competition. The international team discussed with the president of Anbar University the organizational requirements for working with foreign universities, taking advantage of their knowledge and experience in establishing academic and scientific collaborations, and adopting cutting-edge educational practices vital to improving the capacity to create environments that will encourage graduates to participate in the labor market.

Other topics covered at the meeting were partnerships in education and science research, alumni-related events, promotion and communication initiatives, scholarships, and academic prizes. Dr. Talal Yousif, former vice chancellor of the Australian Union University and dean of higher education and emerging technologies for the Queensland Government, Mr. Nick Davis, head of the Times Classification for the Middle East and Africa, Dr. Steve Hall, dean of the college of engineering and technology at the Australian University of Queensland, and Dr. Salih Jaafar, head of academia, are all members of the international academic evaluation team that is currently in Iraq.
