A team from the center visited the Iraqi Air Force Command

 A delegation from the Center for Strategic Studies at Anbar University visited the Iraqi Air Force Command "martyr Mohammed Alaa air Hall" in Baghdad on 2023/12/05 as part of the research teams' work on the topic of "geopolitical challenges to Iraqi national security: Anbar desert as a model." Brigadier General Osama Helmi al-Obeidi gave the visiting delegation a detailed explanation of the most significant security challenges in the vast Anbar desert.

Notably, the delegation was led by Dr. Thaer Shaker Mahmoud, the Center's director, and included Drs. Tareq Hamid Mahmoud, who oversees security and community studies, Moataz Ismail Khalaf, who leads public policies and strategic planning, and Omar Hamid Shukr, who leads security and community studies.The Iraqi Air Force Command personnel (of the Al-Shahid Alaa air base) and Brigadier General "Osama Helmy al-Obeidi" were introduced to the visiting party, who expressed gratitude for their warm welcome and for facilitating the study tour.
