Another study in the series, "The Reality of Parliamentary Work in Iraq After 2005 and the Mechanisms of Its Rationalization and Reform: A Political-Legal Study," was released by the Center for Strategic Studies at Anbar University. It was written by a team of experts in Iraqi political affairs and included the following:

1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Moataz Ismail al-Subaihi as a head

2. Asst. Instructor. Saad Jamar Nashmi

3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Moayyed Jubeir Farhan

4. Asst. Prof. Dr. The Falah Mubarak Berdan.

The axes this study covered and the Iraqi parliamentary system that was established with the founding of the first Iraqi state give it significance. The study was divided into five chapters. The first one covered the definition of parliament, its features, and how far the Iraqi parliamentary system deviated from the British system. Next, in the second chapter, we covered the roles played by the parliamentary system in Iraqi politics as well as the legal and constitutional structures that govern it. Next, we discussed the realities of Iraqi parliamentary functioning following the 2005 approval of the Constitution in the third chapter. The fourth chapter addressed the main obstacles to the Iraqi parliament's capacity to perform its functions and achieve its goals. The most significant procedures that direct the operation of the Iraqi parliament in light of public calls for political reform and change were covered in the previous chapter. The Center for Strategic Studies at Anbar University is researching the common issues that Iraqi society faces and putting up solutions in front of the country's political decision-makers so that public policies can address them.
