 Symposium on "Sustainable Development 2030 from Naturalization to Achievement"Under the patronage of the President of Anbar University, Prof. Dr. Khalid Batal Al-Najem and under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies. Assist. Prof. Dr. Thaer Shaker Mahmoud and in collaboration with UNDP, on the 3rd of April,2019 the Center held a symposium on "Sustainable Development Goals 2030 from Naturalization to Achievement: " Dr. Mahmoud addressed a theme titled "Towards the Settlement of Sustainable Development Targets in Iraq" which dealt with the objectives of sustainable development according to the 2030 Agenda, the steps of preparing the Plan of Development (2018-2022) and the basic principles of the plan and its strategic objectives. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hussein Battal addressed the theme of good governance and the goals of sustainable development 2030 Ensuring good governance and development. Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Nouri, Head of Business Administration at the college of Management and Economics, discussed the scenarios of education for sustainable development, the expenses of scientific research and the strategies of linking universities with policies. The symposium was attended by. Prof. Dr.. Atheer Anwar Sharif, Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Maan Al-Mari, representative of the UNDP and a number of deans, professors, researchers and students. The symposium included a number of commentaries, views and visions on the subject of sustainable development.
