Scientific conference

According to scientific Collaboration among institutions of higher education and scientific research Ministry, Center of Desert Studies engaged in a scientific copartenership on 2nd annual scientific conference entitled Iraq thirst that held by alamain Institute for higher studies and bahraloum forum for dialogue cooperatively with other scientific coparteners. Prof Dr Nihad M Abood, Head of the center was chosen as a member in preparatory committee and Assist Prof Dr Mushtaq A Gharbi  member in scientific committee. This conference aimed to debate the matter of Water and environment in Iraq. Iraq faces environmental and Water crises that aggravated by climate change and neighboring countries water strategic sychronized with retrograduation of Water management in Iraq. This  Negatively reflected on economical life, Sustainable development, increase of pollution and reduction cultivated areas.
