The seminar aims to use free and forced vibration techniques to detect defects in mechanical structures, as it was shown through research that using the vibration signal analysis method can detect the location of the defect with very high accuracy. The researcher also pointed out the development of a special equation used to analyze the measured signal practically, in addition to the possibility of using this technique to determine the location of defects in various applications for which the vibration signal can be measured.
The seminar was attended by a number of department teachers.
