The Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University received on Tuesday, 11/12/2018 students of the sixth grade scientific (applied) junior high school for boys with Mr. Mahmoud Mohammed Ali ,,, one of the school teachers and supervisor of students.

 

The visit supervisors organized a meeting with the Dean of the College. M . Dr. Amir Abdul Rahman Hilal and in the presence of a number of heads of scientific and teaching departments.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean welcomed Mr. Mahmoud Mohamed Ali and the students at the Faculty of Engineering, Anbar University, a summary of "the history of the establishment of the college and its scientific departments, and the laboratories, workshops, classrooms, etc. Primary and Postgraduate Studies.

He added that the college has been exposed to the destruction and devastation caused by the terrorist and military operations in the province, but with great determination and enthusiasm, and the support of the president of the university and the requirements of construction and reconstruction, the college has returned to better than it was.

 

At the end of the meeting, he wished the students success and obtaining a degree to qualify for admission to the Faculty of Engineering, while at the same time inviting students, teachers and their families to attend the celebrations of the University Day.

 

After that, the students toured the scientific departments, laboratories and other facilities, namely the laboratory of the machines and the electronic lab in the electrical engineering department, the environmental laboratory and the fluid laboratory in the engineering department of dams and waterways, as well as the road lab in the civil engineering department and the thermodynamic laboratory in the mechanical engineering department. On the devices in the laboratories and their working methods and uses.

He also briefed the students on some of the vital facilities in the college and the ongoing work in the restoration and reconstruction of the halls of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

 

During the visit, Dr. Haytham Kamel Dawood, Cultural Relations Officer and Mr. Sabar Bara Hamad, Director of the Public Relations Division at the College, were present at the reception.
