Seminar held by the Department of Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering - Faculty of Engineering - Anbar University and within the framework of its weekly scientific activities for the academic year 2018/2019 (second semester) held a seminar for the professors of the department under the title:

(Elements of urban form between administrative decision and natural context)

In which he said that the Iraqi cities suffer from the phenomenon of urban expansion as a natural context that is not controlled to change the elements of urban form differently on the urban center within the master plan of the city as a management decision by urban planners and architects and approved by the competent authorities ,,, Thus, Two adjacent and completely different parts of the elements ,,, This was chosen as the city of Khalidiyah in Anbar province, which is a clear example of this difference in urban form with the presence of natural and human potential.

The practical chapter in the research includes the study of the natural and demographic characteristics of the city of Khalidiyah and its region and representation on maps.

The seminar was attended by members of the scientific committee, a number of faculty members in the department and postgraduate students for the research and preparatory years.
