Anbar University holds its 3rd World Conference on Computerization and ICT

Under the patronage of HE Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Eng. Khalid Batal Al-Najem, President of Al-Anbar University The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Al-Anbar University on Wednesday, 2019/4/24, in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering and Education for Pure Sciences, held the 3rd International Conference on Computerization and Information Technology in Al-Anbar University.

The festival began with the playing of the Iraqi national anthem, the reading of Ay al-Hakim al-Hakim, the reading of Al-Fatihah on the lives of the martyrs of Iraq and the presentation of a documentary film produced by the Media and Public Relations Department.

After the speech of the President of the University on the occasion, he said that we meet again at Anbar University at an international scientific conference which is the third university in this academic year 2019/2018 after the conference of moderation in the religious and political discourse and its impact on promoting community development and the first international conference on water management. The conferences achieved great success through the organization, the subjects presented and the scientific recommendations that came out.

The President of the University said that this conference includes general axes in five main axes as well as four special axes and a total of 276 research papers, which were received after the announcement of the conference. 174 researches were accepted with 63% acceptance and 37% Of the research after the evaluation and scientific review by experts from inside and outside Iraq and from the countries of Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Turkey, Australia, Lebanon, Taiwan, Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Russia and Spain, stressing that all research accepted in this conference Published in international journals indexed in Scopus comprehended which shows the gravity of the accepted research at the conference, noting that the University of Anbar dissolved on the fourth ranking Iraqi and (727) globally within the classification of the Russian RUR universities.

Then the sessions of the conference began with the first two researches by Dr. Mohamed Kanabi from Malaysia, about participation through internet applications in the world of health care and the second research on how to classify the Arabic text through electronic computing. Dr. Ashraf Najjar from the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.

The conference, which will last Wednesday and Thursday, will include research in computing, communications, engineering and pure science.

At the end of the opening session, the President of the University presented a token of appreciation to the Governor of Anbar and to a number of local government members, university presidents, researchers and participants.
