Average rainfall in winter between (50 -200) mm. Through the study of the continental climate of Anbar province, based on the Borisov equation, and by analyzing the data of 8 climatic stations distributed over the study area and for the period (2001-2011). It was found that the prevailing climate in Anbar Governorate is of the continental type, and the degrees of continental in the governorate’s climate vary between severe continental and very severe continental climate, due to the poor access to marine influences, especially to the Mediterranean Sea, and the poverty of the study area with natural vegetation.
