Seminar
A group of teaching staff from the College of Education for Humanities/ Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences attended a seminar as a part of a campaign to reduce school dropout phenomenon. The seminar was held on Saturday 13/10/2018 under the title “With Knowledge, Nations Rise and Face their Obstacles”. The invitation of the seminar came from The National Democratic Institute to identify the issue of school dropout and find the possible solutions for such a critical issue. The program consisted of presenting an introduction and welcoming the guests, in addition to presenting a documentary about this issue and its negative consequences on both genders to conclude with some important recommendations and proposals to deal with this matter. The participation of the University of Anbar had a significant contributions towards suggesting solutions which came as a result of a collaboration between the University of Anbar and Anbar educational directorate in addition to some local NGOs.
