Under the patronage of the president of the University of Anbar Dr Khalid Batal Alnajim, and the auspices of Assist Prof Dr Taha Ibraheem, the dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the department of Qur’an sciences and Islamic education held a Seminar entitled as (the toning and its effect in reciting the Holy Quran). The seminar took place at Aljahidh hall of the College of Education for Humanities on Sunday the 21^st of October 2018. The seminar started with a recitation of some verses from the Holy Qur’an and then followed by a speech by the head of department Prof Dr Abdulqadir Abdulhameed in which he welcomed the audience and gave an idea about the themes of the seminar. The first part of the seminar included the theoretical aspect of Dr Abdujabar Hameed Salih Shaheen which gives a general introduction about the toning in the Holy Qur’an, its definition, history, importance, and parts. While the second part included the practical side and its applications, which presented by Assist Prof Dr Fawzi Turki Khalifa. A special thanks for all the participants and the audience who had a significant role in the success of this seminar.
