Under the patronage of Dr Khaild Battal Najim, the president of the University of Anbar, and the supervision of the dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the Department of Arabic language held a seminar under the title ‘The Beginning of the Arabic Writing and its Evolution’. The seminar took place on the 28th of November 2018 at Al-Jahiz hall. It was attended by several lecturers from the college of education and other colleges. It consisted of three axes: the first one ‘The Arabic The Sematic Languages’ was of Prof Dr Ali Mutar Aldulaimi. The second was about ‘The Formation in the Arabic Writing System: Its History and Development’ by Dr Ibraheem Mohammed Ameen, while the third one was about the ‘Images of the Wording of the Holy Quran’ by Prof Dr Mohammed Alsatori. The seminar answered the questions of the attendance and concluded with several recommendations
