Discussion seminar on ((Problems of gypsiferous soils in Anbar Governorate))

A seminar was held on Sunday, 18/12/2022, on the use of some conditioners in reducing the solubility of gypsiferous soils within the scientific program of the centre for the academic year 2022-2023. Through it, the Head of the Natural Resources Department, Dr Muneer Naji Ahmed, gave a scientific lecture on a study of a proposed research project within the research plan of our research centre within Anbar Governorate, through which it is possible to reduce the problems of gypsiferous soils that negatively affect plant growth, especially because of their high solubility, as the soils of the University of Anbar are considered gypsum soils in which the percentage of gypsum ranges between 25-40%, through the use of some conditioners  by conducting field and laboratory experiments and showing the extent of their impact on the chemical and physical qualities of the soil. Community service that the center seeks to achieve within the university's vision 2030.
