Women Affairs Unit

The Women Affairs Unit has been established in the College of Dentistry, like the rest of the colleges of Anbar University and of the Iraqi universities, due to the importance of developing women’s leaders in higher education in general and colleges of dentistry in particular, participation in the decision-making process, and permanent and effective presence in committees and other important positions in the college.

Enabling women to participate effectively in achieving development and advancement in a nation that guarantees them all their constitutional rights, making them capable of dealing with challenges, enhancing their role in all medical and scientific fields, providing them with full protection and support economically and socially, and providing them with opportunities (without any discrimination) to make them able to upgrade capabilities to raise the status of the college along with her other colleagues.

For women to acquire and develop skills and knowledge, and to be effective members in the community and efficient leaders who participate in decision-making and influence its formulation and strategic activation in a way that meets the needs of the college and university at the current and future stage.
