Scientific Affairs Unit

The Scientific Affairs Unit is linked to the office of the Dean's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, and it is considered an independent unit. The role of the unit in general is to pay attention to various scientific and research products in the college, including preserving scientific research, patents, and books, and following up on various scientific activities such as conferences, seminars, and workshops.

The major role is organizing scientific conferences in coordination with the University of Anbar, Department of Scientific Affairs, by providing the university with the information about the date of conferences and their titles, and the central scientific plan for conferences, seminars, and workshops for each year.

Follow up and supervise the registration of the research plan periodically for college teachers using the electronic platform and follow up on the approval procedures starting from the branch and all the way to the university.

Follow up and document the published research of our university teachers in international databases such as Scopus and Clarivate.

Providing teachers who want to obtain academic promotion with support for their research included in the scientific plan and approved by the university’s Scientific Affairs Department.
