The President of the University attends the departure event and the reception of the director of the center

On Monday, 29th of November 2021, the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Centre honored the presence of The President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtak Talib Al-Nida, accompanied by Professor Dr. Muthanna Mohammed Awad, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, the event of departure and receiving the director of the centre, where professor Dr. Isam Mohammed Abdulhameed, former director of the center, was farewelled for a research year outside Iraq, and received Professor Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel as the new director of the center.
Among the attendees were Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Hashim Khaleel, Director of the Renewable Energy Center with all the staff of his centre, in addition to all the staff of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Centre, including terminal station personnel in Haditha.
Professor Dr. Isam Mohammed Abdulhameed had an unforgettable and large biography in the service of the Centre, where he was the first founder, and since its founding in 2008 until this date he spared no effort or time in completing the tasks of the center, in addition to the journey of Khaleda, which is crowned with a large number of achievements and successes, including the opening of a terminal in Haditha of the Center. Opening various and important laboratories, establishing an international conference and dozens of scientific workshops and seminars, concluding many agreements with universities and research centers inside and outside Iraq and with government departments of Anbar province, and participating in a number of important committees in the presidency of the university, in addition to making the center the focus of the attention of graduate students and specialization at the university and abroad, and other major scientific achievements and activities that cannot be talked about in this report.
The events included a symbolic gift to the respected Rector in honor of his great interest and presence in all the activities and events of the Center, and other gifts to respected assistant masters. Dr. Essam Mohammed Abdul Hamid was honored with a thank you book from the President of the University in recognition of his efforts in the success of the Center since its founding and for this day, in addition to honoring him with a symbolic gift by the center's staff at the university site and other members of the center at the terminal in Haditha. A gift from the former Director of the Centre was also given to the new Centre Director out of respect and appreciation.

We pray to Allah to bring us together with Professor Dr. Ammar Hatem on love and sincerity to bring our research center to the ranks of advanced scientific centers, in the service of our beloved university and country.
