 علاء سليمان نصار الويسي حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الحاسبات عام 2009 ودرجة الماجستير في علوم الحاسبات عام 2011، كلاهما من جامعة الأنبار. في عام 2018، أكمل الدكتوراة في التصوير الرقمي والذكاء الاصطناعي من جامعة برادفورد- المملكة المتحدة (بريطانيا). تغطي اهتماماته البحثية مجموعة واسعة من المواضيع وتشمل: (Image processing, Computer vision, Arteficial Intelligence, Biometric systems, Patterns recognition, and Medical imaging analysis)
