Within the scientific activities of the Department of Agricultural Economics, and in order to enhance the research capacity of the department's students, the Department held a scientific seminar in which the student  Fatima Khudair Mahmoud delivered her research entitled “Optimization using the cost function for cucumber crop (Saqlawiya study area) ” in which she discussed the concept of nature of insurance, its methods and causes. An extensive scientific discussion took place in which the department’s professors participated in a manner that serves and enhances the students’ research capacity. The students were urged to take notes.
