Master's thesis on adding foeniculum vulgare to laying hens' diets

The College of Agriculture - University of Anbar discussed this morning, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, Dean of the College of Agriculture a Master thesis entitled the role of adding Fennel seeds (foeniculum vulgare L.) to laying hens diets to improving the lipid profile in the blood and eggs MSc. student Mudher Mahdi Haglan.

 The discussion committee consisted of:

Prof. Dr. Baraa Hamid Musa/ College of Agriculture - University of Anbar / Chairman.

Assist Prof. Dr. Shahrazad Muhammad Jafar / College of Veterinary Medicine - Baghdad University / Member

Sufyan Mahmoud Farhan / College of Agriculture - University of Anbar / Member

Assist Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman Majed / College of Agriculture - University of Anbar / member and supervisor.

The study aimed to demonstrate the role of adding foeniculum vulgare seeds to laying hens' diets containing animal fats as an alternative to vegetable oils in order to reduce the cost of laying hens' diets and improve the lipid profile in the blood and eggs.

The researcher recommended adding 1% Foeniculum vulgare seed powder to the diet of laying hens to improve production qualities, quality, egg yolk and egg quality

After extensive discussion by the committee members, the letter was accepted after making the minor corrections recommended by the discussion committee... Blessing for discussion committee, student and the supervisor.
