within the syllabus for autumn semester, graduate students in Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering presented two seminars, according to the details below

PhD student Sinan Samer Saeed presented a seminar entitled: Grafting of some varieties of watermelon on the rootstock of cucurbits to study some characteristics of the yield and the resistance of some plant to disease infections.  

PhD student Ahmed Ali Khalaf presented a seminar entitled The Role of Organic Fertilizers and Amino Acids in Growth and Production of Vegetable Crops. The student explained the importance of using organic fertilizers and amino acids in improving the growth and yield of vegetables and reducing the use of chemical fertilizers that pollute the environment. During the seminar, a detailed discussion was attended by professors of the department holding high scientific titles, as well as postgraduate students in the department.
