College of Agriculture discussing a master's thesis on apples

College of Agriculture the University of Anbar discussed this morning, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, Dean College of Agriculture, the master’s thesis tagged The response of apple trees to foliar application with microelements and potassium silicate by student Heba Yahya Hamad, Department of Horticulture and Landscaping. The committee consisted of:

Prof. Dr. Thamer Hamid Rajah / University of Anbar - College of Agriculture / member

Prof. Dr. Hussein Aziz Muhammad / University of Diyala - College of Agriculture / Member

Prof. Dr. Ali Ammar Ismail / University of Anbar - College of Agriculture / member and supervisor

The thesis aimed of improving the characteristics of vegetative growth, which will be reflected in an increase the quantity of the crop and an improvement in its quality for apple trees, cultivar Ibrahimi .

The researcher recommended feeding the apple trees with microelement and potassium silicate to improve the yield and improve its quality.

 After extensive discussion by the committee members, after accepted making the corrections recommended by the discussion committee congratulation to the student and the supervisor.
