within the syllabus for autumn semester, graduate students in Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering presented two seminars, according to the details below PhD student Mohammed husain Awad presented a seminar entitled Study of gene diversity among pure lines and its effect on Eggplant F1 production in protected agriculture. The student explains the importance genetic engineering to determine the gene diversity in production of eggplant hybrids in plastic houses.

PhD student Rami Kheder Aiada presented a seminar entitled The Role of Organic Fertilizers and bio fertilizers in Growth and Production of fig trees. The student explained the importance of using organic fertilizers and bio fertilizers in improving the growth and yield of fig trees and reducing the use of chemical fertilizers that pollute the environment. During the seminar, a detailed discussion was attended by professors of the department holding high scientific titles, as well as postgraduate students in the department.
