College of Agriculture-University of Anbar witnessed a discussion of a dissertation attended by Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abed, dean of the college, entitled Effect of adding natural zeolite and vitamin E to the diet on some physiological traits, antioxidant status and productive performance of heat-stressed laying hens. by Master student Emad Hamed Hammad, department of animal production. The study aimed to research and study the effect of adding natural zeolite and vitamin E to the diets of heat-stressed laying hens.
The researcher recommended the necessity of directing breeders to use natural zeolite in the diets of laying hens in order to reduce the damages of heat stress during hot weather.
