College of Agriculture discussing a master's thesis on the shea plant

 

College of Agriculture University of Anbar discussed this morning master’s thesis tagged Study of tissue type and salicylic acid in the stimulation and production of active compounds in chia in vitro For the student Ahmed Abed  Mohammed, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. The committee consisted of:

Assist. Prof. Dr. Shamil Ismail Neama / University of Anbar - Center for Desert Studies / Head.

Assist Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Hamza / University of Baghdad - College of Agricultural Engineering / Member.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Yasser Sayel Sakhi / University of Anbar - College of Agriculture / member.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Ghafoor Muhammad / University of Anbar - College of Science / member and supervisor.

The thesis aimed at the possibility of studying the effect of the type of plant part and salicylic acid in stimulating and producing some secondary metabolic compounds using plant tissue culture technique.

The researcher recommended the use of salicylic acid as one of the main catalysts in increasing the concentration of the active compounds produced in the chia plant.

After extensive discussion by the committee members, the letter was accepted after making the corrections recommended by the discussion committee... Mubarak to the student and the supervisor.
