Under the authority of the Deanship of the College of Agriculture and in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Anbar, the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, and within the activities of the cultural season, held an attendance workshop entitled Storage methods and techniques of fruits and vegetables. Lectured by Prof. Dr. Sameer Abed Ali and Assit Prof. Ali Ammar Ismaeel, alecturers in the College of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. The two lecturers reviewed the methods of fruit storage and modern techniques and there use to improve the shelf life of fruits. The workshop was banned by a number of teachers from the scientific departments in the College of Agriculture, as well as teachers from the Department of Horticulture and Landscaping and postgraduate students in the department. At the end of the workshop, scientific interventions were made by the attendees and appropriate recommendations were taken.
