According to the instructions of ministry of higher education and scientific research and University of Anbar presidency to enable the role of social media and scientific platform in electronic education, college of Agriculture - university of Anbar represented by its research team of planting sugar cane cooperation with the university of Dyla within the national electronic  incubator project held an electric workshop entitled ( Future Prospects of Sugar Cane Planting as a Strategic Crop in Anbar province )

At the beginning of the workshop, it has been discussing sugar cane planting in Anbar province and its economical profits to get biologic fuel

The recommendations of the committee:

1.Suitability of the natural infrastructures to plant and product in Anbar province, so the committee recommended to plant types of sugar cane all around Anbar province.

2.Support the scientific and research programs which aim at developing and increasing production of the crop and consolidate the relating between Agriculture Directorate from one hand and scientific research in Anbar province, and other area which well known in planting this crop in Iraq from the other hand

3.enlargement in the researches and studies of sugar cane crop by using chemical, mineral and organic compost bedside using traditional and modern irrigation systems, in addition to spray feeder to get the most suitable one in increasing production concerning its type and quantity.

4.Encouraging farmers to plant this important and strategic crop in cooperation with Anbar Agriculture Directorate and the centre of Agricultural guidance

5.Accosting the local government and all the offices which may be concerned to establish a factory to product sugar which can be the main basement for receiving the production.

6.Set up research committees in the scientific departments like animal production, and Food sciences to make use of the production

The meeting was attended by a huge number of researchers and teaching staff from inside and outside Iraq.
