A workshop entitled Agro-Hydrology and Crop Production has been held by the College of Agriculture in cooperation with the Department of Scholarship and Cultural Relation in Anbar University. The workshop comes with the cooperation between University of Anbar and Netherland Universities (NUFFIC). The trainers of this workshop were Prof. Dr. Essam Khudair Hamza, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel and Assist Prof. Dr. Mohammed H Al-Issawi. The workshop focused on the reality of water in in Iraq in general and especially in Anbar Province as well as it included an introduction to SWAP Software which is considered as a numerical system to stimulate crop growth with regarding to water relations.
