A viva exam was held in the college of agriculture in presence of the college dean Proff. Dr. Idham Ali Abd, where MSc. student (Ahmed Jamal Rasheed) defended his thesis entitled (the molecular response of wheat affected by sowing date). The viva committee was:

1- Assist. Prof. Ziad Abd algabar Abd alhameed / chief of the committee - internal examiner.

2- Dr. Shatha Ayid Yusof. / External examiner

3- Assist. Prof. Umar Esmail Muhsen / internal examiner

4- Assist. Prof. Faiz Tahseen Fadhel / supervisor

The study aimed to evaluate wheat response to different sowing date on molecular base where two genes of internist were evaluate for their expression under different environmental conditions reflected due to changing sowing date, and those genes were vernalization  gene (Vrn-1) and photoperiod gene (Ppd-1).

Results were important in such field of study and valuable.

Thesis accepted with minor corrections.
