A viva exam was held in the college of agriculture in presence of the college dean Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abd, where MSc. student (Ansaam Shallal Shraida) defended his thesis entitled (Response of basil plant Ocimum basilicum L to spraying with Salicylic Acid and Arginine and their effect on quantitative and qualitative ). The viva committee was:

1.    Proff. Dr Hussein awad adai / chief of the committee - internal examiner

2.    Assist. Prof. Dr Mohammed Zedan meharb ./ external examiner

3.    Assist. Prof. Dr Waqass mahmood abd allateef / internal examiner

4.    Proff. Dr Omar Hashim Musleh  / supervisor

The study aimed to find the best and highly effective growth regulator in the response of this plant to spraying it with the amino acid arginine to know their effect on the plant's content of some active compounds in the conditions of the central region in Iraq.

Results were important in such field of study and valuable Thesis accepted with minor corrections congratulations for the student and his supervisor.
