Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar and under the direct supervision of the Presidency of the Department of Field Crops, and within the cooperation program with the General Authority for Agricultural Research of the Ministry of Agriculture, a doctoral student (Manar Abdel-Jabbar Abbas) was completed the first stage of his doctoral project under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rjab Muhammad and Dr. Hisham Sarhan which was carried out to find solutions to the problems that the sorghum crop suffers from in the stage of germination, field emergence and field establishment of the crop through testing the appropriate variety and finding modern methods, including nano-fertilizers, to obtain a product that will be tested laboratory and field in the next stage and to select the appropriate ones for the conditions of cultivation in Iraq get rid One of the problems of the germination of this crop. This research project is considered one of the important projects that aims to increase the geographical area cultivated from this crop, which is one of the important pillars used in the production of green fodder for animals.
