A viva exam was held in the college of agriculture in presence of the college dean Proff. Dr. Idham Ali Abd, where MSc. student (Wael Yahya Nasir) defended on his thesis entitled (Study of improving growth characteristics and yield and identification of some medically effective compounds in the fenugreek plant under influence of spraying with gibberellin and arginine). The viva committee was:

1- Prof. Dr. Aqil Najm Aboud / Tikrit University - College of Agriculture/ chief of the committee - External examiner.

2- Prof. Dr. Ali Fadaam Abdullah / University of Anbar - Center for Desert Studies / internal examiner

3- Assist. Prof. Dr. Bushra Shaker Jassem / University of Anbar - College of Agriculture / internal examiner

4- Assist. Prof. Dr. Osama Hussein Mahidi / University of Anbar - College of Agriculture / supervisor

The objective of study was to improve the growth characteristics of the fenugreek plant by adding gibberellin and arginine and its reflection on the active compounds and increasing their concentrations in the seeds.

The results were promising and important, and the thesis was accepted with minor corrections
