The study dealt with the production of several concrete mixtures of concrete free of fine aggregate and used for recycled aggregate produced from crushing the remains of high-performance powder concrete as coarse aggregate. Silica ash was used as an additive, and polypropylene fibers were used to reinforce this type of concrete. Many laboratory tests were conducted on the concrete produced, such as density and absorption. Many mechanical tests were also conducted on concrete, such as compressive strength, flexural strength, and tensile strength by splitting. After analyzing the results, drawing relationships, and discussing the outcomes of the study, it was found that adding silica ash had a role in increasing density, while polypropylene fibers had a role in improving the mechanical properties of the concrete used for recycled aggregate as coarse aggregate.
