The Deanship of the College of Engineering holds a training workshop

Based on the directive of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to launch a program to develop scientific research skills for graduate students in Iraqi universities, which includes holding a series of skill training workshops for graduate students in the research stage, the Deanship of the College of Engineering - Anbar University held today, Thursday, 2/22/2024, and at Ibn Al-Haytham Hall in the college, the training workshop tagged:  “Using Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) as One of Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Engineering Applications” delivered by: Dr. Junied A. Bakr

The workshop included defining artificial neural networks as an artificial intelligence technique and employing them in a learning method similar to the way the human brain learns, and the importance of applying them in solving engineering problems, as well as discussing the philosophy of employing the mathematical and computational model for artificial networks and cells to solve a wide range of applied engineering problems and the mechanism for collecting, arranging, dividing and feeding engineering data. For artificial networks, discuss the degree of reliability of the results that these networks will predict, and analyze the degree of sensitivity to the factors affecting the results extracted from them.
