Meeting of the Industry Advisory Committee (IAB) in the Department of Civil Engineering for the academic year 2023-2024.
Based on the requirements of the Academic Accreditation Committee, the Industry Consulting Committee (IAB) met with all its members in the Civil Engineering Department for the academic year 2023-2024, in the presence of the Academic Accreditation Committee, to discuss the following tasks:
1. Reviewing the educational objectives and their relationship with the stakeholders represented by the committee members.
2. Review learning outcomes.
3. Reviewing the curriculum and its implementation mechanisms, as well as engineering design materials.
4. Proposals regarding labor market requirements as well as developing scientific and applied research.
Note that the Industry Sector Advisory Committee in the Civil Engineering Department includes elite engineers in the government and private sectors who have long experience in engineering work in addition to their prominent role in their institutions.
