(Capstone Senior Design Project)

Dr. Maher Shaker Mahmoud, a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department and a member of the ABET Committee at the Faculty of Engineering, gave a detailed explanation of the engineering project for the fourth stage students.

The mechanism of approving, following up and evaluating the graduation projects and how to calculate the outputs of the project and linking them to the outputs of the department and the outputs of the ABET system was explained. The timetable and deadlines for the completion of each of the requirements of the engineering project were also explained with a detailed explanation of the forms to be submitted by the project supervisors and the project committee. Many questions were asked by the audience and were answered by the lecturer.

The seminar was attended by a number of trainees and students of the fourth stage.
