 Department of Electrical Engineering within the scientific and cultural curriculum (second semester) for the academic year 2019/2020 organized online-discussion seminar entitled:

Google Meet

On 8th  April, 2020 by Mrs. Maryam Rahim, one of the department’s lecturers in Electrical Engineering, gave her lecture in which she explained the use of the video conference room to use e-learning.

Google has launched the feature to record lectures and save them directly to Google Drive within the Google Meet / Hangout app and the ability to broadcast live to up to 100,000 viewers within the domain. Note this feature was previously only available for G suite enterprise

There is a possibility through iOS and Android applications specially designed to work with Meet, you can view your daily lectures and all important information from the calendar, then join with one click. The app is safe as it interacts with students and faculty within the official university email range, all video and audio broadcasts in Meet are encrypted. Users can join safely. The application also has a feature that the teacher can allow the student to ask questions about the scientific subject either by writing or voice directly .. Also, the teacher can specify the numbers of students who attend the lecture To join a student or teacher, he only needs a computer and an official university email. Students can join easily using the MEET app from the application store.
