ندوة علمية
برعاية السيد عميد كلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية الأستاذ الدكتور طه إبراهيم شبيب المحترم .
أقام قسم اللغة الانكليزية ندوة علمية بعنوان (Writing Literary Analysis between Theory and Practice ) يوم الاربعاء الموافق 8 / 3/ 2023 ، الساعة العاشرة صباحا وعلى قاعة المركزية .
وحاضر فيها أ.م. خالد قيس عبد تناول فيها :
This symposium acquaints the students with the theoretical and practical stages of writing literary analysis. It concentrates on the components of literary analysis and the major schools of literary theory which are both required in this creative kind of writing
وكانت أهم توصيات الندوة :
1 - Literary analysis is no different from any other kind of analysis: it attempts to find truth.
2 - In literary analysis, a discussion of ideas (meaning) often extends to the origin of ideas (background)
3 - Because the various schools of criticism (and theories on which they are based) ask different questions about the same work of literature, these theoretical schools provide an avalanche of options from which students/ readers can choose to broaden their understanding not only of texts but also of their society, their culture and their own humanity.
4 - By embracing literary theory and criticism, students learn about literatüre, but importantly, we are also taught tolerance for other people’s beliefs. By rejecting or ignoring theory, we are in danger of canonizing
5 – It is important to acquaint the students of English language and literature with literary analysis and the schools of literary theory so as to be proficient enough to read, write and think about literature.
وقد حضر الندوة عدد كبير من الأساتذة الأفاضل وبعد انتهاء الندوة فسح المجال للأساتذة الحاضرين بطرح الأسئلة و المداخلات ، فوجه الحاضرون عددًا من الأسئلة التي أجاب عليها المحاضر .
وفي الختام شكر الجميع جهد كلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية ولا سيما قسم اللغة الانكليزية على إتاحة الفرصة ، من أجل تبادل الأفكار بين الأساتذة ، وأكدوا على ضرورة التواصل ، لغرض إعادة العمل على عقد لقاءات وندوات علمية أخرى .
