Academic Promotions Unit
The Academic Promotions Committee at the college promotes academic promotion transactions for faculty members after they fulfill the required conditions, relying on Scientific Promotions Instructions No. 36 of 1992 and subsequent amendments and Instructions No. (167) of 2017 in permanent coordination with the Central Committee for Scientific Promotions at Anbar University. All this in order to achieve justice on the one hand, and accuracy and confidentiality of work on the other hand. The committee was also keen to shorten the time for completing the transactions, as the academic promotions committee in the college is responsible for the promotion movement of faculty members in the college departments by receiving their scientific products, research, dissertations, and dissertations, and the committee sends these results to those seeking promotion to the rank of professor or assistant professor to assessors. Experts from Iraqi universities according to specific contexts according to the instructions received from the Central Promotions Committee. The committee then studies the opinions of the experts and evaluators to indicate the validity of those Scientific results, and if the results are positive, they are submitted to the Central Committee. As for those seeking promotion to the rank of professor, their research and results are submitted to the Central Committee, which in turn sends the research to evaluators from inside and outside the race, according to the established controls. Tasks carried out by the Academic Promotions Committee 1. Promoting academic promotion transactions for members of the Zaman Authority and then sending them to the Central Promotions Committee, after completing its requirements and in accordance with the established controls. 2. Follow up on the financial aspects related to the experts’ financial entitlements (evaluation fees) and send them to them. 3.
