Within the activities of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre at the Presidency of the University of Anbar and under the supervision of the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, the course held at the Centre's headquarters and tagged: (Basic Evidence in Chemical and Biological Pollution of Water and Methods of Measurement), which lasted for the period from 4-6/2/2024, was concluded.

On the first day of the course, Assistant Professor Dr. Muthanna Badie Farhan lectured on biological pollution of water, especially bacterial pollution and the health damage caused by water pollution to humans and animals as a result of water pollution with pathogenic bacteria, and the lecture also included bacteriological evidence of water pollution with fecal disease bacteria and methods of detecting their presence. On the second day of the course, Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Arshad Ali lectured, in which she addressed chemical pollution of water, what are the most important pollutants, their sources, methods of detection, the risks that can result from chemical pollution of water, and how to protect water from chemical pollution.

Before the conclusion, there were many questions by the gentlemen and ladies participating in the course and they were answered by the lecturers, and in the end a comprehensive exam was held for all participants in the course.
