The department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture at Anbar University organised a seminar  entitled as (The dangers of mycotoxins and pesticide residues in foods), in which each of the Dr. Salem Hasan Saleh Al-Warshan, a lecturer in the Department of Plant Protection/University of Anbar, and Prof.Dr. Khaled Wahab Ebadi, a lecturer in the Department of Plant Protection/ University of Anbar.

The lecturers reviewed the importance of the dangers of mycotoxins, the spread of mycotoxins around the world, types of mycotoxins, prevention of mycotoxins and reducing their danger on a personal level. While the discussion panel, in the second axis, dealt with the dangers of pesticide residues on human health and the environment, some incidents of poisoning as a result of feeding on foods contaminated with pesticides in some countries were presented , Entities that analyze and manage risks and determine the maximum limits for pesticide residues in food , Precautions that can be taken to reduce pesticide residues and risks in foods at the consumer level.
