According to the directives of the Deanship of the College of Agriculture/University of Anbar, the Department of Agricultural Economics organized a scientific trip for its students at the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, to the Agricultural Bank in Ramadi, in order to get acquainted with the work carried out by the bank, its duties, its activities, and the obstacles that hinder its work.. All this was explained by Prof. Dr. Ali Darub Kassar, in cooperation with one of the bank’s employees and under the supervision of the head of the department, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Rahman Majid, It was a good opportunity for the students to get acquainted on the field with one of the applications of their lessons, the most important of which is the study of agricultural finance and credit.. as well as to learn about the sections of the bank and the way it deals with customers, the mechanism of granting agricultural loans, and what types of agricultural projects that the bank finances.. It took place discussions and questions by the students that reflected their interest in the activity of the scientific trip.. The students were accompanied by a group of the department's professors.
