Within the cultural season in the Department of Agricultural Economics and under the generous sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Idham Ali Abid... A scientific workshop was held, upon God’s blessing, entitled (The Impact of Government Intervention on Sheep rearing, Al-Rutba District for the year 2020 as an applied model), in which all attended From Prof. Dr. Mishal Abid Khalaf, the teaching at the College of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Economics / University of Anbar, and Mr. Aws Okla Mahmoud, Master of Agricultural Sciences / Agricultural Economics.                                      

 the first lecture is poainting, that all the political measures taken by the government with its different financial, monetary or legislative tools, direct and indirect, would affect the system of any commodity in terms of its producer, consumer and its relationship with other sectors. He stressed the importance of sheep rearing activity in Iraq, the development of sheep preparation for the period from 2003-2020, the governorates' contribution to its formation and the Rutba district's .    

The second lecturer showed the results of analyzing the impact of government intervention by adopting the data obtained from 30 breeders in Al-Rutba district for the year 2020, and the results of the policy analysis matrix according to the current conditions and according to the scenario of supporting production inputs traded once and the impact of the second proposed scenario of allowing breeders to export 50% of their production to countries
